Dear 1heart1mind Supporters,

First of all, we wanted to thank you for your generous support to One Heart One Mind. Because of you, we are truly able to make a difference in the lives of many. We feel that one of the greatest ways we can impact these vulnerable children is through a quality education.

In Uganda, the enrollment rate for primary school is 91%, however, the completion rate is 53%. The WHO reports that 70% of the adult population in Uganda is illiterate.

We are focused on providing children with an exceptional boarding school experience.

As you can imagine, there are a lot of different components that go into this.

It takes $50 a month to sponsor a child. As a sponsor you will be providing food, clothing, school supplies, housing, a matron to watch over the children, teaching staff, and extracurricular activities. If $50 a month is a stretch, but you still want to help, give what you can. A little goes a long way in Uganda.
